Policies, Pricing, & Procedures


In all descriptions, requirements, policies, statements, disclaimers and other important information, Community Computer Services will be identified as CCS, the contact information for which is:

Design and Management Requirements
Graphics must be submitted to CCS via: email, FTP Access, 1.44 MB disk, 100 MB Zip disk, or CD and in the following formats: .gif, .jpg .bmp. Submissions in any other format will be assessed a scanning charge.

Text must be submitted to CCS via: email, FTP Access, 1.44 MB disk, 100 MB Zip disk, or CD and in the following formats: .txt, .doc, .wps, .rtf and must be compatible with MS Word. Submissions in any other format will be assessed a typing charge.

Labor hours that are included in specific design packages do not carry over from one month to the next. Any unused labor hours are lost if not used during the specified month.

CCS design projects are custom priced on a per-project basis instead of a flat price. This allows CCS to offer originally designed sites and graphics along with custom programming at a reasonable price. Issues which hinder us from displaying our pricing on this website are:

  • Each customers dynamic needs in website design
  • The broad range of products and services offered
  • Possible misinterpretation of products, services or pricing
  • The volatility of pricing

Upon request from present and potential customers, CCS makes available a current pricing sheet.

Payment Terms and Termination Policy
CCS invoices, via e-mail, on or about the 3rd of each month for services to be rendered during the month following the month of invoice. Payment is due and payable to CCS by the 30th of the month of invoice. Any invoiced amount not paid to CCS by the 30th of a month will incur late charges of 5% per month of the unpaid amount.

An outstanding balance that exceeds 60 days from the due date of any invoiced amount constitutes a breech of this agreement will subject the related site(s) to immediate shut down, without notice. In the event of such a breech of this agreement, immediate payment by the customer is required of all invoiced amounts, late fees and a $ 50.00 per site re-start fee for reinstatement of the related site(s).

An outstanding balance that exceeds 90 days from the due date of any invoiced amount requires payment by the customer of any and all cost of collections for non-payment of agreed fees, including, but not limited to: reasonable attorneys fee, monthly fees, late fees, set up fees, and reasonable interest on any outstanding invoiced amounts.

CCS reserves the right to end all services to the customer, at any time, without notice, for: non-payment of fees, the use of pornographic and/or obscene, violent or abusive materials or any other uses of the related site(s) deemed by CCS to be harmful, distasteful, obscene or rude.

Cancellation Policy
CCS requires written 30-day notice of customer cancellation of CCS service. Such written notice may be delivered via, mail, e-mail or fax. Telephone or verbal notice of customer cancellation of service does not constitute proper notice and will not be accepted.

Termination request must include:

  • Customer Billing Name
  • Exact service(s) terminating
  • Effective date of termination
  • Reason for terminating

CCS is not responsible for any data (emails, website files, etc.) that may be lost as a result of termination of services by the customer or by termination of services by CCS.

Privacy Statement
CCS respects your privacy. We have adopted this Privacy Statement to demonstrate our commitment to the protection of your privacy through adherence to fair electronic information practices.

Our business and site practices and procedures enable CCS to take reasonable precautions to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction; CCS implements reasonable policies and procedures to ensure that personal information is kept only for the purposes for which it has been gathered.

Refund Policy
As a matter of normal policy, CCS does not provide refunds. Any refunds that may be considered or granted are at the sole discretion of CCS on a case-by-case basis.

CCS is not responsible for loss of data. Even though CCS conducts daily tape back-ups, due to the insecure nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee the security of the client's data. Customers should therefore back-up their own data.

CCS reserves the right to alter these terms of service at any time for any reason, without notice.
